LIFE AFTER GRADUATION
You are very excited about graduation, but are thinking about your life after your hardships, tons of demanding efforts, lots of intense works, stressful days and sleepless nights? Will you find out your true passion? Or will you choose your passion? What about failure and success?
Whether you are an undergraduate or in a graduate degree, life after school can be a tough shift. There is always an enormous arrangement to discover in a short period of time and this can be so nerve-racking. Also, this is truly an exciting and at the same a challenging path in your life and optimistically with determination and with God by your side you will be able to enjoy your immense accomplishment in life. When you already have your diploma and you will go and evaporate from your school, life after college connects you to the real world especially the first few years it very tough and it’s a glimpse to the world that you want to pursue. You will be able to use your learning for how many years of hard work when you are in your college days. Your college life maybe your tough years or even your best years in life, but with the strong economy, increased cost of living and enlarged outsourcing of jobs, what do you think a fresh graduate should do? Of course! They will automatically look for a job that fits their curriculum and will be able to improve their knowledge in their chosen field so that they will have a salary to help them in their daily living and to share their skill as well. But the problem is how they will look for a job when nowadays people are multiplying and more jobs were being replaced by automated systems or tasks that would normally be tearing between people that are multiplying. And because of the innovations tasks or works can be done in just one click without any workers. That is why, it is going to become harder to find significant or meaningful works. Even in getting a job as sweepers or janitors are becoming harder and harder as the time goes by. We should be aware of that. However, most college students falsely believe that the diploma itself will speak for them, but the fact is that it is you, your knowledge itself that will make you successful. It will break you in the process of finding and having a successful career in life that you dreamed of. You must be prepared so that you will achieve you goals in life.
If you are looking for a job, sometimes you just don’t know where to begin your search. So the first walk is that you should plan your next step after your graduation. Planning is very important. Do not just go if you are not ready. It is like you are going in a war without guns. So, you better plan your life after college because you are already facing the real world. You should look for your passion, look for a work that fits your curriculum and looking for what is enjoyable to do right now as well.
We all know that that nowadays, looking for a job in ones field is very hard especially if you have no connections and being in the right place at the right time in God’s time. You should have tons of ambition and patience in finding your dream job. To achieve it, you have to experience throwing different kinds of newspapers or look in the internet, ask your friends, call your relatives and to be prepared for interviews. You should also aware of the job, search the job if it is legal or not. Also, by knowing the job in detail it will save you from embarrassment and for you to be aware of the job you are taking. This process takes time and I don’t think it’s bad if you will know too much information, it won’t hurt you either. So, better search for the job and the company as well. However, when going to an interview, you should always ask questions, take notes and most especially dress appropriately. In that way, the company will know if you are really interested to the job that they offered. You should be open minded and have a positive attitude. In that way you will have no problems in getting employed. Also, if you are looking for a job, you should not look to have a job itself but to take your time and decide on a job that makes you happy. You have to consider the types of jobs that interest you. Look for your availability or look for your schedule, the days of the week or will you choose full time or part time job, or are you going to take the risk if your job is far from your house. You should know and understand our qualifications.
Here under are the ways of creating a job according to http://www.wikihow.com/Create-a-Job-for-Yourself
1.) Plan. In order to create a job for yourself, you need to think about how exactly you will go about it, what you will do, etc. Set aside a notebook or folder for your planning. Make a list of all your work experience, skills, and achievements. Then, using this list, think about what you want to do in the way of a job. Will you be working for someone else, or be self-employed? What area or field do you want to work in? Will this be a full-time or part-time job? Do you need lots of training or classes to be qualified for the job? Remember that you stand your best chance of creating a job where there is a need for this particular skill or job. Look into up-and-coming fields or check out businesses in the area to see what is missing and fill that void.
2.) Gather your resources. Once you have a fairly clear idea of what you want in the way of a job, you need to prepare. Do you have an up to date resume? Do you have friends, relatives, or associates that may be able to help you? Do you need to take any courses or complete additional training in the field?
3.) Now you're ready to go, get up and do it! Creating your own job often requires you to be assertive (not aggressive!) and seek out opportunities. Be kind to everyone you meet so you can gain an excellent reputation in your community. Networking is key at this stage. Maintain ongoing professional relationships with your business contacts/colleagues and be sure to meet all expectations and deadlines. Be sure to sell your services effectively, but do not be pushy or rude to anyone.
4.) Be flexible. If you can't make a go of it in one area, don't beat yourself up. There are many reasons the job you are attempting to create may not work out. For one thing, if the job is too specific or 'niche' for most people/businesses, you are likely not going to succeed. A reptile pet grooming salon, for example, may not do quite as well as an animal grooming salon that services dogs, cats, and birds as well. However, there is also the danger of overextending yourself, or focusing on too broad a target instead, so be sure to find a happy medium. Do some research. If you are looking to create a job within an existing business, don't be too disappointed if you are turned down. With the current state of the economy, many businesses are letting employees go, and may not be able to take on another person. Don't take the rejection personally. Finally, you may lack the proper training required for the job. If you want to become a freelance writer, for example, but have absolutely no experience in writing for publications, you are not likely to be successful without a few courses or articles to your name beforehand.
5.) Keep your eyes open. Even if your job is a success and you are making money, a better opportunity may present itself. If you feel you can do better some other way or you see a great new idea that will make you even more money, take it! Many successful venture capitalists simply buy, sell, and merge businesses constantly and become extremely rich.
This ways will truly help you if you are looking for a job but not all the time that the company will accept you and it is not that easy to acknowledge you because you should be able to be qualified to their standards because it’s about your help in their company if you are capable enough or not. Sometimes we have to be aware of rejections. We should always accept rejections. If you are not getting rejected, you are not putting yourself out there enough. So we should recognize rejections wholeheartedly. If we are able to learn to see rejection in a positive way, it is a chance to improve ourselves, to correct our mistakes. By that, we will not have a difficult time in getting a job. In this present time, our generation has been stereotyped as self centered and lazy because of the innovations. But actually, this generation we are forced to be self promotional or “magbuhat ng sariling bangko” and to be entrepreneurial to stand out from other job applicants because you are already facing the real world and it’s a tough world outside. But you also have to consider that you are doing those things in a right way so that you will be able to enjoy life happily.
In order to have a better professional job career, we have to finish our studies or to have a good education. We all know that education is essential to every individual. It is very important and actually my parents always say this to us many times so that we will inculcate it to our minds and in our hearts, and it is very true I agree to them. It allows us to have a better opportunity to earn a higher income and this will also help us to earn confidence in dealing with other people. It is something to be proud of. Actually now that the unemployment arises, more people especially those who are undergraduate starts going to school and also those who are already graduated in college chooses to learn more by going to a masteral degree to be knowledgeable enough and to be competitive in many ways. It clears out all the wrong things or beliefs in our mind and helps us to create a clear picture of everything under the sun and our confusion about things will be lesson or will be wipe out because of the things that we have learned from school. In my case, my parents sends us to school for us to have a job in the future, to be able to share my talent, to develop my skills, to be a good citizen, develops my perspectives in life, makes me capable of interpreting things rightly and a good example for every individual that they will be truly proud of, because education is not just about lessons in books from famous authors but it is about the lessons that we will be able to use in our life. However, we should instill in our minds that is not just that you are educated you have to step other people who didn’t able to finish their studies.
Education is the best instrument to carry an optimistic transformation in our society. It also helps us to develop a creation of responsible individuals and to give a contribution to the development us as human beings. In short, this serves as the means to develop oneself physically, mentally, morally and socially. So, we should use our knowledge in a right way. We should be humble in everything that we achieve and don’t forget those people especially our loved ones who are always with us until we reach our dreams.
